TEA PARTY!
I know it's past February, but I just got this blog and haven't, until now had time, or though of sharing with you a Valentines Day Tea Party I threw for some of my friends. Even though it's past the time no matter when it is, I suppose we all need some inspiration...
These are the back of the chairs, I covered them with vintage cloth, then light pink tule, and tied a beautiful handmade name tag on each one.

An assortment of treats on out beautiful Valentines Day Tea Party table!
Our beautiful table!
On the celiling, I made paper chains, and paper hearts, all different sizes, using glitter, making each one different.
A friend helped me with these. They're hearts I made from scraping crayons onto wax paper, and then meltingn them. We made over 100 of them, all different sizes, hanging them in the window for the sun to reflect on them.
This was at the head of the table. Small cookies my friend made, along with cupcakes I had special orderd. For my guests that didn't like tea, you can see I have sparkling pink lemonaid.
My friend and I both made this banner. It's over 4 feet long and is embellished with glass glitter. From my chandelier, I hung over 40 strands of beautful pearls.
These are cookies my friend made. She made 85, every one being different. You can see, surronding them, I put cut out hearts and beautiful tea tins. In the tea pots I put hot water, giving my guest a variety of teas to choose from.
These are the beautiful cupcakes I had specially made. I placed them on a vintage tray...
This is one of the place settings. I used a vintage teacup and vintage saucer, then washed and iorned some vintage hankercheifs for the napkins. Then, I placed an antique hat on every teacup, so when my guest arrived, they could mix and match their hats with their outfits. I also used the hats as a way for my guests that hadn't yet met, to get to know each other.

I have decided to sell some of my artwork! I cannot duplicate any of the collages you see here, but I can take request and incorporate personal pictures, or words into the collage. Each one is handmade, using paint, epherma, magazine pictures, vintage greetings card, you name it. They are made on heavyweight cardstock and I use archival glue so they last a long time. My asking price ranges, but the approximate cost is about $40. Shoot me a message here if you would like to buy some!
